Oh wow hey there! Go ahead and join, we'd love some new members! 8D Don't forget to read the second post about the rules, setting, and about the water wolves!

Taima's ears flattened in annoyance as she saw the soft silhouette of Coal slinking outside. She held back a growl, her eyes fixed on the shape slowly moving into the forest. Why couldn't she just stay put, and just getting herself in trouble? She had already nearly died! Kohana would never forgive imself if a pack memebr was to die! Taima's eyes darkened and she turned to Kyo. If she doesn't come back soon, I'm going after her. I won't have her getting into trouble again. She decided, her tail brushing across the ground thoughtfully. She didn't like needy wolves. Even if she was Shaman.

Kyo just nodded thoughtfully and gazed up at the stars.

Coal found her paws walking and weaving themselves throughout some part of the forest. She knew she had done much wrong even though all she had been trying to do in the first place was help out the pack, not hinder it. Her body must have decided it was time for a walk and for her to clear her mind, think about things alone and in the literal darkness of thought. Her glossy pelt brushed past large green leaves and she breathed a deep breath in, taking in the cool, almost damp air. This is really what she needed... perhaps this was why she was named 'Coal of the Night.' She took into account every step she took, the feeling of each individual blade of grass, moss, and rock she padded over into her mind. Coal was also careful of where she was going, making sure not to get lost in any way - she wasn't that far out from camp at all, barely even a quarter mile out. Finally finding a beautifully large and draping willow tree, Coal walked herself to it and curled her body underneath its bows and trunk. Scarred belly to the sky, she closed her eyes.

Taima huffed. Did he not care, or did he just trust Coal? Why would anyone trust her? She'd already gotten into a fair mount of danger. Taima just sat there, glaring out at the dark forest, waiting for some sort of howl for help.

Coal laid on her back and slept, finally. Her one front paw was outstretched, resting on the upwards trunk of the olden willow tree. Her breathing was even and deep, herself sucked into a dream. Velveteen pelt down to the ground, her scarred belly outstretched and exposed to the heavens.

Kyo craned his head and smiled to Tai.
I wouldn't worry about her, give her time. If you care so much then go search for her, if not just let her do her thing. She didn't ask for you to go get her, in fact it seemed that she waited to get away when no one was looking or was to be bothered - We just happened to be watching. It's your choice.

Taima pushed down a growl that was rising in her throat. Last time we let her 'do her thing' she almost got killed, and Kohana also! If it weren't for him, she would be dead! It's dark, and she's injured. She continued glowering at the shadowed forest. She sighed. But fine, have it your way. Though if she's dead by morning, don't blame me. She shrugged before getting up, pulling her white tail across Kyo's side then padding into her Cavern, and curling up by the stone well, winding her tail around her nose. Her green eyes scanned the darkened cave one last time before snapping shut.

Tai.... Kyo's voice cut off into a sigh. He followed behind her and laid his body down next to hers. He ruffled his muzzle over hers into a nuzzle and looked straight into her eyes. I know your acting this way because you care, no matter how angry or mad you sound. Don't let our little black-ish fae get to you... If you disliked her so much then why did you help her get her powers so she could stay? If you hated her so much then why didn't you tell Ko to make her an Omega? If you despised her so much then why didn't you leave her to die today, or at least fend for herself, after the incident? No Tai. You care, I know you do. He looked out towards the exit of the cave and thought for a moment, the great cogs in his mind rotating. She's not a bad girl Tai. She's just lost.

Coal dreamt, not moving barely an inch.

Tai's eyes snapped open, burning straight into Kyo's. I would never let someone die, not matter how annoying, how pathetic. I wouldn't abandon anyone if they've done no wrong. I have morals, you know, and I stick to them. She's not omega because she hasn't done anything cruel like Rakoo. Plus Ko would never do that, he has more morals than I do. He's practically ruled by guilt. But that's not the point, the point is I do care about Coal. But I still don't like her. She explained huffily before exhaling a long, tired breath, and then shutting her eyes again. She's certainly lost alright. But she better find her way soon. She can't go through her life in a confused trance.

Kyo clenched his jaw and held his tongue as she spoke her mind. She didn't get to him with her tone, he always saw past it. Tai, think for just a second though would you... just on her behalf? Would you not go crazy with boredom without your brother? Or without your beautiful Cavern? He paused for a second. She doesn't have anything Tai. We live in a pack that consists of two mates and an Omega. She's not allowed to talk to the Omega, Ko has pups and a mate, and she stays clear from us. She's alone pretty much all day to herself, keeping her own mind busy. Coal has no rank, therefore she has no job to carry out or occupy herself. Today she was trying to catch dinner, more than likely to please us all if my assumption is correct.... Kyo flopped his head down to his paws, succombing to his own defeat. He mumbled his last few words getting quieter and closing his eyes. If no one gives direction... there is nothing to pull someone out of being lost..

Coal woke up a short time later, her mind feeling a little better. Sure, she still felt guilt, heavy guilt, but she wasn't as antsy. She rolled to her side and got up, not putting pressure on her underside. He feet back beneath her she silently padded back to the old pack den, eyes soft.

Rakoo heard a crinkle of a leaf, and jolted up once more. His ears twitched nervously, and he looked around. "Hello?" No one replied...

    --

Akua heard the whine of their male pup. She lifed her head, and licked his ear in comfort, trying to calm him down. He was soon asleep again.

Anyone remeber the puppies names? x3 I have terrile memory...

Taima sighed quietly, keeping her eyes closed. I suppose, but she could tell us next time she wants to hunt, so we could help her. Ko could teach her or something. She only has to ask. We could really do with an Overseer or Beta to do that though... She sighed again. Coal was just a burden at the moment. She needed to pull herself together; ask for training. Tai decided to talk to her brother about it in morning. She relaxed now, muttering a last sentence before settling down to sleep: She should find her own way; no one else can find out what she's supposed to do in life but her.

Ko's paws twitched slightly in sleep, but he slept deeply and did not awake.

Kyo nestled in his own paws to sleep and soon he was out like a light. His pelt shifted to white, his chest rumbling from time to time with a soft and light snore. His tail was tucked neatly beneath himself and he stayed this way until morning.

Coal just slept in the pack den on her side until dawn broke.

Rakoo calmed down a bit, but not much. Realising who it was, he trotted off in stealth, to find Coal.

    --

Caspian whined again, and Akua sighed. She nosed him awake, and licked him again. He yawned, and looked up at her in interst.

Coal woke up in the presence of her den and sniffed around whilst still laying down. There was a small puddle of collected dew to her side, glimmering in the suns rising light. Looking at it softly she was glad to see it, it was something to occupy her today. Carefully flipping her tail she made 4 little droplets rise and take shapes, spinning softly around her head. As she did, as they always did, her swirled markings on her side softly glowed.

Kyo woke up to the sun pouring onto his face. He stood up and yawned, stretching his cramped muscles. Padding out of the den, his eyes half shut, he went to the pool to get a drink.

Coal was completely oblivious to Rakoo and him watching her as she morphed water. Slowly she stuffed all the droplets into a larger water ball and made it go up and down, as if it were a bouncing ball. Slowly though the ball took to making an asymetrical shape. Coal scrunched her face hard with concentration to try to make the water bend to her will this way. With much effort she however began to manage the ball into a shape that slightly resembeled a wolf.

Kyo drank to his fill, otherwise he'd get a headache for the day. He wasn't sure of what to do with today, perhaps hunt as yesterdays came up fruitless foodwise.

Rakoo grinned, and sat down, very quietly. He didn't want to interrupt. He watched as the shape began to look more and more like a wolf, and then used his ice powers to harden it. With that, he slunk off into the dark, and through the dense forest. He really did like Coal. She was nice. He smiled, and wondered if she thought she had new powers... He laughed at the thought, and rolled over, letting his tounge lolle out.

Coal jumped back when her creation suddenly froze in the air. She yelped that sort of jolted yelp and set down the ice thing before backing up deeper into the den. Her eyes shifted back and forth, trying to catch an explanation of some sort. Her brain flickered to the only wolf that could have done this in her pack. Rakoo? She asked gently.

His ears twitched at the sound of his name. Very slowly, he stood up, trotting over to the den. "Yes?" His head hung down. He was afraid she'd be angry for him possibly ruining her masterpiece.

Coal watched as Rakoo seemed to almost magically appear from the shadows. She smiled ever so slightly to him and laid down once more. At least she had an explanation for the water to be turning to ice. Hi.

    ...

Coal shook her head and shrugged her hackles. It's okay, I... was just fiddling. She looked back at the creation and watched as the sun slowly took it and melted it back into a puddle like it started out as. Her eyes drifted to the Omega and she sighed almost like a defeated sigh. How're you?

Taima woke up slowly, rolling onto her back and stretching her paws upwards. She stared blankly at the ceiling for a few seconds, then rolled back over and heaved herself upwards, twirling around a few times to assure everything in the cavern was in order. She decided to detour through the pack Den on her way outside, to see if Coal had returned. She was realived when she saw she was, but then a face set in a snarl when she saw Rakoo. She was about to shoo him out, but she sighed, remembering what Kyo said last night, and padded past them, flashing a last warning glare at Rakoo before disappearing outside. She join Kyo in crouching down by the pool for a drink.

Kohana opened is eyes suddenly, scanning the Den for any sighs of danger, then glanced over at Akua and the pups. He smiled, and licked them all then got up, deciding to make sure everyone else was in order. He padded outside to see Tai and Kyo crouched side-by-side drinking. He smiled, then assumed Coal was still sleeping. He didn't care where Rakoo was. Though if he was with Coal... he sighed; perhaps he would give that male a chance. But he would keep his ears out in case he tried anything like last time. So then, Kohana being Kohana, he leapt straight into the pool for a morning swim.

Kyo smiled as he continued to drink his water to his fill, feeling the presence of Taima beside him. Moments later he also felt another presen--- SPLASH! Yup. Kohana was up now. Retracting his pink and black tongue over his dripping maw, he stood up he seized the moment and also too a swan dive into the water. It looked fun.

Rakoo completely ignored the glare he recieved, and shrugged his shoulders. Lately, he had been jittery and extra nervous. Yet, he couldn't figure out why. "Im okay... I guess." He mumbled. "Anyay... I'll let you continue on your wolf... Sorry to ruin it. It was coming along nicely." He padded out of her space, and off into the deep forest. He sighed, and rolled over on his back, staring to the sky.

    --

Akua looked up at Kohana, and grinned. "Sorry... Caspian was having trouble sleeping. I didn't wake you, did I?" She asked, licking the pup. He shook his fur out, and began to clean himself. "I can clean myself..." He said, all grown-uppy, between mouthfuls of fur. Akua laughed, and returned her attention to her mate.
