Taima huffed agiain, nodding uncertainly, not convinced in the slightest. She watch him go before retreating to the water's edge, swishing her paw through the water, watching the ripples gradually appear and diappear, deep in thought, scowling.

    Okay :3

    Back for a bit!

Kyo sauntered over to the territory's borders, sniffing deeply as he went. These dreams... what was the deal? As he reached the edge he turned, following alongside the border like a barrier of some sort, eyes scanning protectively. Nothing out of the ordinary so far. He followed and followed, actually going through miles of territory considering the fact that he was walking the whole extent of it. His hackles were in a medium between raised and flat, and his head low to the ground. It took him about three hours total to get most of it done, him just wrapping up his "journey" at the beginning of the fourth. Mind satisfied for the moment, he turned back inwards towards camp, still the slightest alert

Bored and trying to ignore the slight pain niggling in her stomach, Taima closed her eyes, lowering her body onto the ground, lifting her paw from the water daintily. With nothign better to do, she found herself drifting off to sleep whilst Kyo scowered the border. She trusted him not to do anything stupid, however strange he was acting.

Kyo came back into the clearing, instantly spotting his mate. He laid down next to her, head flopped to the ground. However, he didn't dare close his eyes.

Taima woke up just as Kyo had entered the clearing, her gaze shifting to watch him sit down beside her. She stifled a yawn as her eyes trailed to look at her distorted reflection in the water, various thoughts flooding back to her.

Okay then no worries! Hopefully speak soon :3

Kyo didn't speak at all, the presence of both the mates enough for the equivallent of talking. Sometimes when you really know someone you don't need to talk. However after having done an extremely thorough check of the territory he was tired, and it fretted him. So he just laid there, not laying his head down, but just sitting there, being a presence.

Taima layed her head on her paws, green eyes unfocused as she drifted through various thoughts, pleased to have Kyo next to her, seemingly a little calmer than he had been earlier. With Coal and Cove playing further downstream and Ko and Caspina out hunting and such, the clearing was pretty much empty except the two shamans, lying still by the riverbank. She shifted on her stomach uncomfortably, dangling a paw into the water to soothe her somewhat.

Kyo was sensitive to all everything around him as he laid there doing nothing. When Tiama shifted he swivelled his ear curiously, flicking it towards her to pick up any minute sounds. He blinked his eyes heavily and waited.... although to what he wasn't sure.

Taima said nothing, shuffling again, trying to get into a comfortable position. She wasn't usually one to have problems like this. She was a Shaman, and that was all the more reason why she was good at avoiding getting sick in any way. However, she couldn't run form illness forever, it seemed. If this was illness... Taima shook off the thought, glancing over at Kyo, making sure he was vaguely content as she shifted her postion again.

Kyo's ear flicked again as Tima once again shifted. This time though the sounds registered fully to his brain. Two shifts in under just a few minutes? For a normal wolf that'd be completely normal, heck, for himself it'd be nothing too much out of the ordinary. But for Taima- that was different. He knew his mate well since the time they had gotten together, he may not have the miraculous ability to read auras like her or anything special like that, but he could pick up a few things within his head with his observations. He knew Taima could sit for hours on end, like a statue, not moving a single claw if she didn't want to. This is why it was absurd. Was she uneasy about something? Did something not go right in the Cavern when she was organizing? Or something else. He turned a look to her and simply licked the soft cheek fur on the side of her face, turning his head back around but keeping that one single ear in satellite direction to face his mate.

Taima knew she was acting out of the ordinary, and she knew Kyo could see it; she picked up the signs of confusion and concern almost instantly. It was nothing, for now, she told herself. However, if all this discomfort persisted she would have to look further into it. But she couldn't tell Kyo, he would become too worried, and if it turned out ot be nothing that would be a load of stress he would have wasted. For Taima, stress wasn't really part of her vocabulary. She shifted her position again, tail sweeping across the ground and she laid her head on Kyo's back, still saying nothing.

Kyo felt a weight on his back and smiled, feeling his mate rest on him. It helped he admitted, to have her physically touching him, he knew nothing could get at her here. It was a bit of comfort that the Shaman needed after his little episode. He really wanted to lay his head down now, to settle up and be comfortable, but he didn't, keeping a vigilant laying down stance with his head raised.

Leaving her head on Kyo's back to still twitching her paws slightly, Taima closed her eyes for a moment, finding some form of comfort in leaning on her mate. Her mind turned over various thoughts and possibilites as she considered getting up to hunt down something in her Cavern.

Seeing Taima relax made Kyo only want to rest further. Finally succombing, he slowly let his head down to his paw, closing his eyes but attempting to keep up the alert with his ears. If Tai was on him everything was okay right?

Taima shut her eyes, ignoring the throbbing but slowly ebbing pain and trying to concentrate on her thoughts. She felt Kyo moving beneath her, but she didn't flinch, enjoying the peace that had settled over the clearing.

Kyo's mind began to slow as his head nestled a little more into his forepaw. One ear began to droop - just the slightest bit - but kept falling and falling. His breathing became even even though he technically was still awake, but only barely. And then suddenly, as if he was on a trap door and someone pulled the lever he fell himself uncontrollably falling, falling into sleep. "Noooooo!" he yelled out in his mind as he "fell," his real life body not even moving. His dream self cursed his real self for falling aslepp as he literally fell into his dream, landing with a painful thud to the ground. The area was misty, wet with water dripping off of almost every tangible surface....

Taima couldn't sleep, although she tried. Her mind was churning possiblities, reciting herbs names and imagining various pulps and poultices she could try. that was if it didn't fade, which she hoped it would. She didn't want to be troubling over her own problems when one of her packm-mates was bound to get into another scrap, and Rakoo's bullet wound would probably need re-dressing...

Kyo's mind tormented with him, coming up with terrible images and thoughts, playing out before him as if it were just real life. This time however, because he had been so tired, he was in a REM mode in real-life. Aka, he couldn't move so there was no sign of his own distress. Everything he held dear seemed to have an ugly demise or have something happen and there was nothing he could do as he was still torturously asleep.

Due to Kyo's peaceful facade, she had no idea he was being twisted and tortued in a horrific nightmare. She closed her eyes, ears twitching as a bird burst from the bushes and up into the canaopy, flitting across the tree-line.

"You're a LIER Kyo! You never were here to help us at all!"

"No! It's not true! I swear it isn't, I LOVED her!"

"Oh yeah? Then why didn't you go to save her? Why didn't you lay your own self in the line and protect her like a real wolf would??" Kyo whined, cowering like a small puppy and tear streaming down his face, creating pools on the ground.

"I tried..." he anguished, referencing to all his cuts and scraps and other injuries left over his body. "But I failed..."

"Trying isn't good enough," the voice went on, the harsh coldness hitting him as if it were a hard tangible object. "You know what we must do Kyo..."

The dream Kyo pressed his eyes shut, not even trying to escape. But when he did so it seemed to pull him up, up and out of the dream altogether. Moments later Kyo's real eyes burst open and awake.

Taima flinched as Kyo woke up, lifting her head from his back to stare at him with wide, concerned green eyes. She shifted her position again before speaking, "are you okay?" She asked, reaching over to lick the top of his head.

Sorry I took so long; I had to eat and then clear up.

Kyo wriggled out of being underneath Taima and whipped around to look at her, again doing a check all over her body. His pelt faded to that dull lavander purple again, him being on edge. These dreams.... they didn;t even feel like dreams. They were almost like, premonitions. Please. He begged, eyes fearful and wide. Please dont ever, EVER, under any circumstance go to the waterfall alone. Ever. His breathing was a bit shallow. Even for me. Or Kohana. Or anyone.

No problem, I'm just hanging out. It's only 10 am here!

Taima narrowed her eyes, confusion flashing in them for only a moment, before the cogs in her minds started turning and she began to get some sort of understanding of why Kyo was rattling all this buisness about the waterfall, presumably the one far outside their territory, where the pine trees grew. Why would she or Ko, or even Kyo himself go there anyway? "Is this about these dreams you've been having?" She questioned carefully, tilting her head. They were just dreams weren't they?

Kyo flopped to the ground, paws over his head. Just like Taima and the wanting to hide her stomach pains (though he didn't really know about them yet) he did not want to bug others with his own personal problems. Yet, Taima was his absolute world, everything he lived for now. He knew the feeling was mostly mutual. He knew that she loved him, and loved him deeply and passionately, but he wasn't the only one. He was well aware of his mate's brother, Ko, and the deep bond the brother and sister shared between each other. It was a different sort of love, one that could never be broken or be surpassed. Kyo knew this, it was fact in his mind - but he was okay with it, it's how the world worked. But him. No, he had no siblings to be attached to and no background to want to remember too much. Taima was the soul thing on this earth that really had any meaning at all to him. Shamanism was just a hobby he had picked up in his youth and even though he loved it, it would be given away if there was ever a need to in order to save his mate.

And these dreams scared him, scared him out of his wits. Why were they continually coming? Why so vivid? Were they telling him something? WERE they premonitions? He didn't know, and the unknown is what was making him act so strange and out of character to his usually happy self.

He laid there for a moment, thoughts running through his head like a racetrack filled with racecars going at terminal velocity. He didn't want to scare her, he didn't know if he was even being completely irrational, but he didn't want to risk it either in any way. So what should he respond??

If he said no, leaving her in the dark she'd know something was up still and try harder to force it out of him, he knew her enough for that. But if he said yes and explained, she might brush it off her shoulder as just dreams.... and something might happen. It was an ugly cycle either way.

    ...Sorta.

Taima snorted, bobbing her head, unconvinced. Feeling it was best not to pressure him further, she flopped onto her side, relieving some of the pain. She was sure that there was something more, something particular in these dreams, but she wouldn't like to make him bring it up; she knew how hard it was to talk about the harsh moments in life and dreams. She loved Kyo and she wanted him to be happy, more than anything. Maybe. Taima wasn't selfish by nature, but she was used to staying in her own little bubble. She cared for her patients but she was never worried, she never doubted or ummed and ahhed about anything.

Yet, right now, she was worried, and not about her stomach pains, that wasn't the very least of her concerns. Kyo wasn't wounded, wasn't physically hurt, but she was worried, a strange feeling to her, prickling at her chest. She didn't know much about dreams or what they signalled. She glanced over at Kyo, watching his mostly yellow aura swirl around, the pink and blue tinges blurring the edges. Taima didn't usually focus so much on Auras, they were just a thing that were there, and she would only pay proper attention if she saw something had change, like the added pink in Coal's recently, ot when she encountered a strange wolf. It was strange to watch it now, as if she was searching for something in it, a prickle of colour that signified something, anything.
